Parfait Paris Cafe , a family-run business that has been around for a decade, is getting ready to expand into the San Diego International Airport, Terminal 1, at 3301 N Harbor Dr.

The company’s seventh location is set to move into the redeveloped Terminal 1, which is under construction. While Guillaume Ryon and his wife Ludivine Ryon own and operate Parfait Paris Cafe, this new location will likely be operated by High Flying Foods , a Bay Area-based and family-owned company specializing in hyper-local airport dining options. Last year, the San Diego International Airport partnered with this group to operate all concessionaires at Terminal 1.

It’s unclear exactly when these new tenants are expected to open, but SAN’s New T1 Website states phase 1A should open in Late 2025 and 1B by Early 2028 . Other concepts previously announced for the newly redeveloped terminal include Puesto, Parakeet Cafe, Kettner Exchange, Lofty Coffee Co., Cutwater Spirits, and Mostra Coffee. High Flying Foods currently operates Bankers Hill and The Counter in the current Terminal 1 space, along with Stone Brewing, Phil’s BBQ, Saffron Thai, and Pannikin Coffee in Terminal 2. Parfait Paris Cafe will serve as an excellent spot for travelers to stop and grab a famous macaron, a sweet dessert, a tasty coffee, a freshly baked croissant, and much more

“The story of Parfait started in 2014 with the opening of a family-run Patisserie and boulangerie in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter,” according to the company’s website. “Today, Parfait Paris brings its French savoir-faire throughout its various locations, inviting people to taste the French Art de Vivre and celebrate its Gourmet Parisian heritage. Now known for our award-winning desserts, macarons, and pastries, we offer a variety of savory and sweet fares, all made from scratch.”
