Javier’s Second San Diego Site is Coming to Downtown

Javier’s , a high-end Mexican restaurant with locations throughout Southern California, has recently secured a lease for a new site in Downtown.

The company’s seventh location was recently announced as the newest tenant coming to the IQHQ building, a 1.7 million-square-foot project on San Diego’s waterfront, according to a press release . Other tenants set to join in this megaproject include Equinox, a showroom for electric truck manufacturer Rivian, and The Shade Store, a window treatment company. These new, high-quality partnerships total approximately 50% of the district’s nearly 200,000-square-foot retail footprint.

“RaDD is a premier district designed to benefit both the industry we serve and the broader community with world-class shopping, dining, events, and engaging outdoor space, including 19 incredible public art installments,” Tracy Murphy , Co-CEO of IQHQ, said in a press release. “The introduction of these exciting brands demonstrates the execution of RaDD’s vision, the importance of the waterfront to San Diego’s future, and the leading position of IQHQ’s districts as hubs of innovation and lifestyle.”

While Rivian’s showroom at RaDD is now open, there is no exact timeline for Javier’s opening. When it opens, customers can expect delicious Mexican food made with the best ingredients. Javier’s can currently be found in Century City, Newport Beach, Irvine, Las Vegas, Los Cabos, and La Jolla.
