According to a recently submitted permit application, the restaurateurs behind Palm City Wines are planning to debut a new bar concept in Lower Haight.

Coming to 698 Haight Street , Bar Jabroni — as referred to on the filing — will land near establishments such as Danny Coyle’s, Otra, and Palmyra.

What Now San Francisco reached out to co-owners Dennis Cantwell and Monica Wong to inquire about the drinkery, but they could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, a recent job listing describes Bar Jabroni as an “upscale casual wine bar” and discloses that it will offer Californian cuisine.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Palm City Wines , the concept is known as a “relaxed, understated wine bar offering wines and craft beers, plus sandwiches and snacks” — including a roast pork hoagie, shrimp salad, and meatloaf.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
