New Quick-Service Gelato Spot Coming to Berkeley

According to a permit application recently submitted to the City of Berkeley, a new quick-service gelato and frozen dessert spot is gearing up to open.

Coming to 2125 University Avenue , the yet-to-be-named concept will land near establishments such as the “trendy cafe chain offering upscale coffee drinks & pastries, plus beans & brewing equipment” Blue Bottle Coffee , the Mexican restaurant Comal, and Triple Rock Brewing.

What Now San Francisco spoke briefly with the concept’s owner, Sarabjit Bajaj , to inquire about his plans for the 870-square-foot space, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
