The 15% Board Game Cafe Will Soon Bring 100% Fun to Tacoma

According to a recent permit filing, The 15% Board Game Cafe will soon debut in Tacoma at 3518 6th Avenue #110.

“We are going to be serving food, but board games are our main focus for the time being,” co-owner Hannah Waltmann told What Now Seattle .

“In 2020, I (Rebekah) had the pleasure of meeting someone who would soon become one of my dearest friends. Our connection was instant, sparked by our shared interests and the discovery that we are remarkably alike- so much so that we playfully declared ourselves 85% the same person.”

“Yet, as our friendship deepened, we realized that, while the 85% in common made us good friends, it was the 15% that was different that made us great friends. From this realization, the name for The 15% Board Game Cafe was born.”

“Our mission is to celebrate and cherish the differences that make each person special while bringing them together with a common theme: games.”
