Pork Roll Pete’s Opening in Bradenton

This fall, a new bagel shop is opening in Bradenton with a selection of New Jersey – and New York -inspired foods. Pork Roll Pete’s will open at 4657 Cortez Road West , in the Bradenton Commons shopping center.

“Necessity sparks creativity!” says the Pork Roll Pete’s website . “When looking for great bagels and sandwiches Pete noticed a need. Trying to find the perfect crunchy and chewy bagel or fresh sub on real “old world” Italian bread was a challenge. To make it a reality he teamed up with a few family and friends. What was created is Pork Roll Pete’s! A Family owned and operated Florida eatery featuring the NJ has to offer (& some of NY).”

The restaurant’s menu has yet to be uploaded, but the website promises Fresh Baked Bagels ( Our bagels are hand rolled, kettle boiled, and baked fresh daily ), Traditional Breakfast ( Start your morning with our signature breakfast menu options and a fresh cup of coffee! ) and Finest Lunch Sandwiches ( Satisfy your cravings! Try our delicious sandwiches on real “Old World” Italian Semolina Bread! ).

What Now reached out to co-owner AJ Altes on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the Pork Roll Pete’s Bagels opening. Altes was not immediately available for comment.
