Kelly Osbourne’s boyfriend, Sid Wilson, is sharing the details of his recovery after suffering significant burn injuries following an explosion at the Iowa farm he shares with Osbourne and their one-year-old son, Sidney.

Wilson, a 47-year-old musician best known as the turntablist for the band Slipknot, told Fox News Digital that the accident left his face severely burned, particularly from the nose down, and caused extensive injuries to his arms. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Wilson remains optimistic about his recovery, noting that his face is healing quickly.

The explosion occurred when Wilson attempted to reignite a woodpile he had burned the previous night. After pouring gasoline on the smoldering debris, he ignited it, causing an explosion due to lingering vapors in the humid air. Reflecting on the incident, Wilson admitted his impatience led to a critical mistake, saying, “I really learned that the hard way.”

Wilson was able to rush back to the house and seek medical attention, first at a local urgent care facility and later at a specialized burn unit in Iowa City. He expressed immense gratitude for Osbourne's support during his recovery, calling her “invaluable” and “amazing.”

Kelly Osbourne, 39, provided her own update on Wilson’s condition via Instagram Stories, assuring fans that he is “doing good” but still sore. She shared that he’s been “very, very drowsy” due to the medication regimen prescribed for his healing.

Wilson emphasized the importance of fire safety, urging others to be cautious, saying, “Don’t mess around with fire—it’s going to win every time.”

As he continues to recover, Wilson is focused on keeping his spirits high, though he admits the hardest part has been grappling with the regret over his actions. Fortunately, doctors have informed him that surgery or skin grafts will likely not be necessary.

The couple, who have been together for two years, are relieved that their young son Sidney was unaware of the frightening incident. Wilson remains positive, saying, “I’m alive, so I’m doing good,” and is eager to put this harrowing experience behind him.
