Living in Haverhill we’ve seen the loss of many Family activities. We lost our Bowling alley, Skating rink, Tennis Court, and Movie Theater, and possibly the Hospital land. (Only to be sub-planted with bars, tattoo parlors, and marijuana shops. And wait till you see the monstrosity they have planned for the Pentucket bank, and the PMA parking lot…!)The city of Haverhill has spent the last 20-years overbuilding on every square corner of land. Apartments, condos/high rise buildings taller than trees, are being shunted into old-growth, smaller, streets. The sewer system can’t take it. The green land afforded drainage the new-construction builds don’t provide. Overbuilding makes for crowded streets, parking troubles, and more crime. Nothing is better, I wish they would just stop. No one can afford $3-4k/month rent. Which is the going rate for ALL of these overbuilds. The housing they are creating is ALL for the illegal immigrants who won’t be paying rent by the fruit of their own labour. Their rent will be paid by the Taxes (Meaning: Tax money used for Section-8 housing/“Emergency housing” funds.) of those that work. “Real” housing would be affordable for EVERYONE. Once you figure out who they are building for, you will understand how much this will cost working taxpayers. Democrats are playing the long-game with redistribution of wealth and creating a voter-base.
