Construction underway on former NDSU Engineering Administration building
FARGO – Construction and renovations are underway on the former Engineering Administration building at NDSU. The building will be replaced by Offerdahl Hall and the Richard Offerdahl ’65 Engineering Complex. Funding for the project includes a historic $25 million gift from Richard and Linda Offerdahl, $59 million from the legislature, and gifts from Doosan Bobcat, Mortenson, Marvin, and numerous other benefactors.

Man sentenced to 15 years for conspiracy to distribute drugs in North Dakota
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Brendan Tyler Moore, 38, was sentenced to 15 years in prison Thrusday for his role in a large-scale drug distribution ring. Moore was arrested in December 2021, when police found three pounds of meth and a gun in his abandoned car. Once he was behind bars, his jail phone calls led to a September 2022 raid in Fargo’s Hawthorne neighborhood, which led to a number of arrests.

North Dakota Senior Games Brings Crowd To Fargo

(KVRR) — Here at the North Dakota Senior Games both men and women 50 and up are competing to have a chance to win to go to Nationals. “Yeah, we have a ton of doubles this year so I’m just excited to see. We have like over a hundred pickleball athletes. So seeing those doubles players, especially those mixed doubles, I think it’s so fun to see men and women play against each other and be competitive. I think that is a lot of fun.”

NDSU Soccer Opens Season With 3-1 Win
LA CROSSE, Wis. – North Dakota State soccer defeated Viterbo University 3-1 in the season opener on Thursday at the Viterbo Athletics Complex. Senior Olivia Watson opened up the scoring in the seventh minute with a close-range effort off of a ball from Hannah Arnold. Watson's 13th goal of her career moved her into a tie for 10th in NDSU's D1 history for goals, tying Abbe Stratton and Malley O'Brien.

Scattered Rain Continues into Friday
THURSDAY EVENING: After rainfall reports coming in over 4 inches in some areas as of Thursday early morning, more rain continues to wrap around the Low through tonight. Rain had been more prevalent north through the morning, but with the center of the low pressure system sitting over the valley, more rain and thunderstorms are possible everywhere this evening. As the Low tracks to the east, steadier rain continues behind it. While steady rain becomes more scattered in nature overnight, a few showers continue tomorrow. Additional rainfall from Thursday afternoon to Friday evening may exceed 1-2″ in eastern ND.
