    Appalachian Power monitoring weather threat

    WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Appalachian Power says it is monitoring the weather threat looming over West Virginia for Wednesday.

    According to Appalachian Power, they are monitoring a weather threat that is likely to bring strong storms through West Virginia this afternoon and into tonight.

    Areas that may be impacted include Charleston, Huntington, and Wheeling.

    If outages occur, Appalachian Power crews are ready to respond, according to the company.

    They say that now is the time to ensure you have a plan in place in the event of a power outage.
