Luxe Beauty Lounge lets its hair down during opening day celebration

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — A new business has just set up shop in Wheeling. Luxe Beauty Lounge, a hair salon and beauty boutique, cut the ribbon to celebrate their first day in operation.

Luxe provides a range of services including hair coloring, cuts, and styling for special occasions. They also do lash extensions, lifts, and tints.

Co-owners Alyssa Smigel and Kristen Ruckh say they are excited to have their friends and family here to support them on their special day.

“We kind of fell in love when we came down here and saw the building and we kind of always wanted to open a salon with no other salons in the area so that we felt this was a perfect location.”

“Well, me and Kristin have worked together for the last seven years, so we decided what better time than now. We just hope everyone feels comfortable here and we want to welcome everyone.”
