Upper Ohio Valley Gospel Fest kicks off Saturday at Heritage Port

Wheeling, W.Va. (WTRF) – This weekend Wheeling’s Heritage Port will be filled with music and ministry as the Bethlehem Apostolic Temple and Shiloh Apostolic Faith Assembly hosts their Upper Ohio Valley Gospel Fest!

It all kicks off Sunday at 10:00am at Heritage Port in Wheeling, and music will begin at 10:30pm.

There will be 12 to 13 groups from across the region performing. That includes choirs, soloists, and even guitarists!

Reverend Darrell Cummings says he is very excited that he can bring gospel to the many celebrations the Friendly city has to offer.

“Heritage Port has opened up it’s doors to the symphony, to bluegrass, to country, and a number of wonderful things. So hopefully we can add to the diversity by bringing gospel music here as well. It’s going to be a foot-stomping, hand clapping, old fashion gospel, good time.”
