WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — 7News reporter Jake McGlumphy made a splash at the Undo’s Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival.

This is the fifth year the Ohio Valley Trades and Labor Assembly has brought local leaders into the dunk tank to raise money for charities throughout the valley.

If you want a shot at donating to a good cause and dunking a fire chief, police chief, or politician, check out the trades and labor assembly booth at the festival this weekend.

Each dunkee gets an hour in the tank and all proceeds go to their charity of choice. We’ve got 14 charities benefiting from this today. Union members always open their wallets and their hearts up when it comes to helping out the local community.”

David Cantrell, President of the Ohio Valley Trades and Labor Assembly

Although the water may have been cool, helping local charities was even cooler.

All proceeds made from 7News’ time in the tank will go towards Easterseals.
