As Covid-19 was taking over the world in 2020, the Anderson family had another battle of their own. They couldn't find one of their family members.

On July 12, 2020, Forest Anderson was at a residence on County Road 329 in Bethany, Texas. Bethany sits on the Texas and Louisiana border. Forest left that home, walking, heading towards the Louisiana border.

    From there, Forest vanished.

As his family tried to track him down, they began to hear rumors on social media that Forest was diagnosed with COVID-19 and succumbed to the illness. However, with the help of local authorities, no one could track down any proof of this.

Forest was 71 years old when he vanished, and would today be 75. He is described as a black male, standing 6' and weighing around 150 pounds when he was last seen in July 2020.

He has black hair and brown eyes and usually has a beard/mustache.

Forest was last seen wearing a blue and purple checkered button-down shirt and jeans.

Anyone with any information on Forest Anderson is asked to contact the Panola County, Texas Sheriff's Office at 903-693-0333 or Caddo Parish, Louisiana Sheriff’s Office at 318-675-2170.
