As we reported on News Center at 11:00, Issac Grubbs was westbound on Old Salem when he hit a Nissan Pathfinder driven by 35-year-old Nathan Netti, of Shaker Heights. Netti was northbound on Union Road. Grubbs was driving a Ford F-150 that left the road, rolled and hit the house, breaking its exterior wall. The truck ended up in the yard.

“We do have reports of the vehicle driving at a high rate of speed prior to the crash,” said Sgt. Jeff Patenaude, of the Dayton Post. “. . . Did they just lose control? It sounds like after he made contact with the SUV he lost control.”

Netti reported no injuries in the accident that occurred just after 7 p.m. in the city of Clayton.

Two people in the house were not injured, according to the patrol. A woman in a neighboring house was evacuated for her safety because of a gas leak in the house that was hit. She was not injured, he said.

Damage to the house is significant, the sergeant said, noting that all the brick on the east side was taken down and the truck punctured the structure.
