    Coroner’s office called to crash in Dayton

    The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office were called to a crash in Dayton early Wednesday morning.

    As previously reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, Dayton Police and medics responded at around 3:20 a.m. to the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Webster Street on reports of a crash. The intersection was closed for over two hours before reopening around 6 a.m.

    The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office told News Center 7 that an investigator was requested to the crash.

    Stanley Avenue and Webster were closed for several hours but have reopened.

    Video and pictures show the intersection blocked off and two cars suffered heavy damage.

    News Center 7 has contacted Dayton Police for more information.

    Officers closed a busy intersection after a serious crash in Dayton early Wednesday morning.

    One car suffered heavy front-end damage. The passenger side door was also damaged.

    Another car was damaged and ended up in a business parking lot.
