Letting the intrusive thoughts win. Nothing riles up the crowd during an MLB game like a little player-fan interaction, and this one might take the cake for the 2024 season thus far. Over the weekend, the Braves played the Oakland A's in Atlanta, Georgia. During the game, outfielder Adam Duvall put on a show for the fans in the Coors Light Chop House. The Chop House has prime viewing decks near the foul pole, making for a perfect game view. Folks at concerts might make beer stacks, but these Braves fans got creative stacking their empty cups to create a beer-amid in their viewing deck. The 8th Wonder of the World stood tall behind the outfielder, and after a play, he made sure to give the dedicated fans a show. Finishing the play with a ball left in Duvall's hand, he let his intrusive thoughts win and tossed the ball up to the viewing deck, not only giving the fans a prize to take home but also testing his pitching skills. He nails the beer pyramid with a stellar throw, sending solo cups flying.
Maybe Brian Gerald Snitke should keep Duvall's ability to throw darts in his back pocket if this season gets tough... and talk about a memory these fans will never forget.
