Final ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Trailer Shows Off Major Cameo, Possibly Teases Spider-Man

LFG indeed. Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters everywhere next week, and sometimes final trailers can be just that extra nudge too far where some plot details are spoiled, and those who'll be seated Day 1 are a tad disappointed to have compulsively watched it. Ryan Reynolds and Co. are smarter than that, though. Deadpool himself is a self-aware character, so making the noob move of spoiling too much in the last trailer, so close to release, would be the ultimate faux pas. She plays the daughter of Wolverine in Hugh Jackman's would-be final performance in Logan until this MCU/Deadpool team-up project came along. She seems a little more mellow and mature than when we first encounter her in that flick. Given that Deadpool & Wolverine is exploring the multiverse, it's unclear if she's a variant, or is that Logan version of X-23. Regardless, it's great to see Keen back on screen in that career-launching part. But also, it's encouraging in a sense that they're revealing that already, because that means we have a hell of a lot more shocking cameos incoming. Many are speculating that Blake Lively is beneath the Lady Deadpool mask. Glad we'll have to wait till the movie drops to find out. Last major point to cover: Deadpool rides in the car with Wolverine, pretending to shoot a spider web. This obviously irks Wolvie. However, we can't exactly rule it out at this point. If any Spider-Man stumbles into this story, it'll be a welcome arrival. Any variant of Spider-Man. Hell, throw Nicolas Cage's Spider-Man Noir in there! Or maybe, in the spirit of the titular characters on journeys toward redemptive arcs in Deadpool & Wolverine , perhaps a thematic callback is in store to Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker from Spider-Man: No Way Home . Is he the werewolf again this time? Bless Andrew for making us (at least me) believe just enough that he might not be returning in No Way Home . Made for a hell of a reveal. If I had to put money on it, Tobey's the Spidey who'll show up. Spider-Man or not, this final trailer confirmed Deadpool & Wolverine is gonna be lit.
