Hawk Tuah Girl Shows Up At Rock The South & The Silence Is Deafening

Well...that's awkward. Since the "Hawk Tuah" girl, Haliey Welch, has been identified, she has had quite the ride. Obviously everybody's seen the video that shot her to viral fame, where she was asked her advice on pleasing a man in bed and gave an answer that changed her life: "You gotta give him that hawk tuah, spit on that thang." From getting on stage with Zach Bryan, partying with Shaq, and signing a PR team and manager who says that a reality show could potentially be in the works, Welch has been doing her best to capitalize on her viral fame since quitting her 9-5. But is the public already over it? Welch has said that she turned down Playboy, and that she won't start an OnlyFans, so she's not exactly leaning into the "hawk tuah" persona that made her famous...so now she's just some girl from small-town Tennessee who's making appearances all over the country (and getting paid pretty well for them ). Most recently, she appeared at Rock the South music festival in Cullman, Alabama. Welch got on stage hyping up Warren Zeiders and Jelly Roll, and to say people were uninterested is an understatement. She did nothing wrong in the intro, but the crowd was nearly silent when she appeared on stage. Welch tried to hype up the crowd, but they were not feeding into her enthusiasm. The poor girl was doing what she was asked to do, but I think her time in the limelight for the "hawk tuah" bit is fading quickly. Hopefully she's got some more tricks up her sleeve...
