Celebrating the Twisters release. The long-awaited sequel to the 1996 movie Twister came out yesterday, and it may be one of the most anticipated movies of the summer. Of course a lot of that's probably nostalgia, because I remember watching the original movie back when I was a kid when it first came out. Even 10-year old me knew Helen Hunt was a babe. But anyway, that's not relevant here. With
Twisters finally in theaters, the soundtrack finally dropped yesterday too - and it may be one of the best movie soundtracks we've seen in years. Featuring cuts from names like Tyler Childers, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Charley Crockett, Megan Moroney and many, many more, the soundtrack is an all-star album from some of the best in country music. One of the first songs that was released from the album was one from Luke Combs , who contributed to the album with the hard-charging "Ain't No Love In Oklahoma." And last night during his show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Luke decided to bring out the cast of Twisters to celebrate their work together. During "1, 2, Many," several members of the cast including Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Kiernan Shipka joined Luke on stage to shotgun a beer, much to the excitement of the crowd. And shoutout to Glen Powell for helping Daisy finish her beer when she couldn't get finish off the shotgun. https://twitter.com/kelsospade/status/1814542019580072222 What a scene.
