Casey Donahew Releases New Single “When She Kissed Me,” Drops Tracklist For Forthcoming Album

A new album from Casey Donahew is loading.

The Burleson, Texas native has been dropping several new singles this year, with his most recent one, “When She Kissed Me,” released today. The rise of single releases often means an album is in the works, and today, that speculation was confirmed. Today, Donahew announced his 11th record, whose name has yet to be confirmed.

In a simple social media post, he shares a gothic backdrop of a trailer with red roses surrounding it. Above the moody image are the seventeen tracks appearing on the album, which will drop later this fall.

Accompanying the album announcement, he dropped a classic love song, “When She Kissed Me.” The song gives a high school feel to a secret love affair and how that love slowly turns into a once-in-a-lifetime kind of romance. While it’s scary to give yourself entirely to someone, the love that Donahew sings of is the kind that supports one another through the ups and downs and never lets that feeling for each other waiver, and he always feels reassured: “When She Kissed Me.

Now that the tracklist for his forthcoming project has been revealed, fans can see that three other singles he released earlier this year, along with “When She Kissed Me,” are set to appear on the tracklist. The previously released singles like “Whiskey Talkin'” featuring Kylie Frey and “Hungover Again” highlight the authentic Texas country sound that Donahew has defined over the last two decades.
