    Tyler Childers To Headline Inaugural ‘Live On The Plains’ Festival In Auburn, Alabama

    Coming out of the gate HOT. While the summer is generally considered "festival season," when you're in the south that means more time to take advantage of the good weather - which means more time for outdoor concerts. And folks in Auburn, Alabama are in for one hell of a show. Announced today, the all new Live On the Plains festival will be coming to Auburn on November 9, brought to you by the organizers of iconic festivals like Rock the South and this past year's massively successful Rock the Country. The event will take place at Sistrunk Farms, and will feature a stacked lineup headlined by Tyler Childers, along with Mountain Grass Unit, Braxton Keith, Bayker Blankenship and Hudson Westbrook.

The festival will be a blend of not only some of the best in country music, but also a tribute to the Auburn area. And of course the it's intentionally scheduled for Auburn football's bye week - so you won't even have to miss the Tigers game to be there. Speaking about Live On the Plains, Nathan Baugh of Peachtree Entertainment expressed his excitement to bring the event to the Auburn area:

    And the city of Auburn is pretty excited about it too. Robyn Bridges, President and CEO Auburn-Opelika Tourism said she's looking forward bringing the festival to the community: “We’re thrilled to be a part of bringing Live On The Plains to the Auburn area. Auburn-Opelika Tourism is always looking for opportunities to introduce new experiences, and this concert series is set to become an exciting new tradition.”
