Young Raiders Fan Set Hilariously Low Bar For A Successful Season: “Not To Get Arrested”

You've got to teach them while they're young. This young Las Vegas Raiders fan has already reached the hopeless stage of sports fandom. That usually comes after years of being let down and devastated by your favorite team. Honestly, I'm a little jealous that this kid has already gotten to this point. He's currently going viral for an interview he did with KTNV out in Las Vegas, where a reporter was wondering how fans felt about the Raiders chances this upcoming season. KTNV's Nick Walters commended a kid he stopped to talk to for his knowledge on the Las Vegas (formerly Oakland) squad, and asked: "You're so into the NFL. You know your Raiders, I can tell right here. How are you feeling with the team this year?" And you know how kids are usually brutally honest? That trend continued when the young Raiders fans didn't even bother being optimistic or positive with his answer: "We're not going to the Super Bowl. I already know... I already know it." Poor kid... doesn't even know what it's like to have false hope. Either his parents raised him to keep his expectations low, or the play of the Las Vegas Raiders just extinguished all of the hope that a fan could have. The news reporter was taken back by the answer, and tried to spin things into something more upbeat by saying: "We've got a realistic Raiders fan here. This is odd. This is the first interview I've ever had like this. The Super Bowl chances are not good, but what is it gonna take for the Raiders to have a successful season?" If you thought the last answer was hopeless, just wait until you hear how the young fan responded to this question about the Raiders. How does Las Vegas have a successful season? According to this kid, avoiding trouble off the field is the key: "Not to get arrested." Staying out of the slammer will either help the Raiders have success, or that will be the bar for which success is measured - according to this fan.
