Megan Moroney Reveals Biggest Dating Ick, & It’s Worse Out There Than I Could’ve Ever Imagined

It's rough out there. And it sounds like no one knows that better than Megan Moroney when it comes to today's dating landscape and the true hell that it is... seriously, where did all the good guys go? I keep hearing they're out there, but it becomes harder to believe by the day, though I digress... Meg played Boots and Hearts festival in Canada a couple weeks ago, and during an interview, she was asked about her dating life and biggest icks (basically a turn-off when dating). And her answer actually shocked me... not the first "ick" she named, which was when someone has a big ego, but the second, when she revealed that she's been on dates and paid for dinner, recalling one in particular when her parents were also there having dinner as couples, and her ex let her pick up the tab for all of them. Now obviously, Meg has already had a successful career and I'm sure she could easily afford the dinner(s), but that's not the point... she shouldn't be taken on a date, then expected to pay for her and her man? I'm sorry, but have we really fallen this far as a society? It's even worse than I thought... chivalry is seemingly, actually dead. Apparently, even a gorgeous, successful and kind-hearted queen like Megan Moroney has to deal with bullsh*t like this: "I was saying to my friends the other day, I'm so single that I don't even charge my phone at night. That's literally how bad it is right now, and I like, don't even care. I'm just living, I'm in my own world right now, yeah. My biggest ick? Ego, probably. I'm like, just be nice, please. I've paid for dinners. Regularly. Yeah, a lot of dinners I paid for, when my parents were there. We've moved on."
