Miranda Lambert To Play Free Show At Stubb’s In Austin, Texas Tonight

A honky tonk queen. Miranda Lambert just announced that she'll be playing a free show at music venue and restaurant Stubb’s Bar-B-Q tonight, playing on the indoor stage as an early celebration of her forthcoming 10th studio album, Postcards from Texas . The pop-up show is free to the public, and she has instructions on how to get in on her Instagram post below, though obviously space will be limited compared to her usual sized venues these days so if you get in, consider yourself lucky. According to the Austin-American Statesman , the club has a capacity of 150 at the downstairs bar, and additional capacity of 60 in the upstairs bar that overlooks the stage... so yeah, intimate is an understatement. Miranda has previously said her new record is "honky tonk as hell," and it she produced it alongside Jon Randall at Austin’s legendary Arlyn Recording Studios, so this is a perfect fit for a show and I'm incredibly jealous of everyone that will get to see Miranda back playing at a honky tonk, where she got her start: "HONKY TONK AS HELL.
