Football is BACK. Well, it's almost back, and you probably already knew that. What are some tell tale signs that the most wonderful time of the year is upon us? Telltale signs that football is near often align with the early signs of fall, such as: -That first cool, Fall breeze that you feel -Leaves subtly changing colors -Money being taken out of your bank account and being transferred to something called "Draft Kings" That last one might lean a little bit more towards football, but you get the point. There's no better feeling than knowing that the long, six-month wait for football to come back is just around the corner. And football fans can rejoice, because this weekend marks its official return. It's not NFL football, but it's football nonetheless. College football's "Week Zero" is this weekend, which means the return of high stakes games (if you haven't already been playing EA Sports College Football 25). I'm sure a tear will come to the eye of many football fans as they turn on their TV and start their Saturday by watching ESPN's
College Game Day. https://twitter.com/BenScottStevens/status/1825523072822378638 For those that particularly like the NFL, college football will act as a bridge between the NFL offseason and the official kickoff, which takes place with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens. Then, we can all sit on our couches for countless hours and enjoy all kinds of football every weekend from then until February. I'm sure there were some people out there that really needed to hear that. I know I've been looking forward to this since football left us earlier this year. https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1825552447013818741 So celebrate, and plan accordingly. Skip a wedding if you have to. Football is almost all the way back, and it's okay to get a little emotional about it. Football just means more, as you'll see by all of the people on social media sending out celebratory posts about its return:
