Josh Allen MVP Season? Bills QB Says ZYN Has Been His “Secret Weapon” This Offseason

The odds for Josh Allen to win MVP just skyrocketed. There's no doubt that the Buffalo Bills quarterback is one of the most talented players in the NFL. He often leaves the minds of football fans in a pretzel - though that can be both in the good sense and the bad sense. Some plays, he'll show off his big arm and air it out for an 80-yard touchdown. Others, he'll throw it right to the other team's cornerback as if they were his wide receiver. It's the Josh Allen experience. Often times, I'll watch Allen sling it around and I'll think, "If he could somehow just mellow out a bit, he could be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time." And it seems as though Josh has worked really hard this offseason to better position himself for success with the Bills. He was a guest on the Green Light with Chris Long podcast, and talked about how he's been painstakingly precise preparing his body for the upcoming season: "This offseason, I approached it a little bit differently. OTA's I had a chef cooking all good things and she was great. So I was eating better, one. I took care of myself better than I ever have in our little month and a half break. And there's... I don't know if I should say this but there's a secret trick that I don't know if it's true or not." Secret trick? Like Michael Jordan's "Secret Stuff" in Space Jam ? What could Josh Allen possibly be alluding to that would be a secret weapon for a quarterback that's already the ultimate weapon at QB? "I'm just throwing in a few Zyns, you know? ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US! There's no way that the NFL is ready for Zyn Josh Allen... or should I say Josh All-Zyn? (I just made that up, feel free to use it if the Josh Allen Zyn thing really works out). With the context that Allen was speaking in, he's seemingly saying that the nicotine pouches have helped him get into the best shape of his life. So there's an excuse you can deploy when someone says you are Zyn-ing too much. Seconds later though, Allen somewhat walked back his Zyn comments, saying: "I'm not a big Zyn guy. On the (golf) course, I'll throw one in. Citrus is pretty dang good." Josh... you should have just left it at "throwing in a few Zyns." We'll actually just act like you didn't say you weren't a big Zyn guy, and instead prepare ourselves to see a never-before-seen Josh Allen hurling the pigskin and leading the Buffalo Bills to a Super Bowl this year.
