"Honey... did we order a trampoline?" You could not have carefully placed this trampoline in this Georgia driveway any better... if only that's where the trampoline was supposed to be. Much like boat ownership, they say the two best days in your life is the day you get a trampoline for the kiddos and the day you get rid of it. Whoever owned the one in this video didn't plan on parting ways with theirs, but mother nature had a different plan in mind. Anyone that buys an circular or rectangular insurance increaser knows the dangers that can come with owning a trampoline. Not only can they be the cause of broken bones or terrible, spring-induced scratching, the trampolines can also cause property damage to your own home or someone else's if they aren't secured well enough to the ground. Considering this one was flying through the Athens, Alabama sky, I'd venture to say that the owner didn't properly secure it to their yard. And somehow, on what looks to be a sunny day in the south, the trampoline got picked up by a burst of wind, soared through the air like a sail, and then plopped down right in the driveway of someone's house. The video is almost hard to believe: https://twitter.com/spann/status/1826768966942855634 Isn't it great that we have security cameras everywhere know that allow us to see how things like this unfold? That last gust of wind that blew it into the driveway is, for some reason,
hilarious . One Athens, Alabama resident came home to quite the surprise - or I guess at the very least two southern citizens were perplexed. Someone came home and asked, "Where'd our trampoline go?" while the other person probably inquired, "Where did this trampoline come from?" Luckily, it appears that no one was hurt, though the home might need a couple new sheets of shingles. Because everyone came out okay, social media felt comfortable making a lot of jokes about the flight of the Alabama trampoline:
