“Bully & A Hypocrite” – ESPN’s Paul Finebaum Rips Colorado Coach Deion Sanders For Banning Denver Reporter From Future Press Conferences

Deion Sanders, as ESPN's Paul Finebaum so aptly put it, might not actually be "ready for primetime." He's not necessarily living up to his iconic nickname as the head coach of the Colorado Buffalo, and that's speaking in both on the field and off the field terms. Sanders' squad struggled down the stretch last year, finishing with a 4-8 record, which put them dead last in the now defunct PAC 12 conference. Deion could still turn things around this year, though he's not off to a hot start with the
off the field side of things. He's making headlines right now for effectively banning a Denver Post reporter by the name of Sean Keeler from being able to attend future press conferences. Sanders claims that Keeler had "personally attacked him" with some of the stories he's written for the Denver Post , and used quotes from Keeler's writing that labeled Sanders as a "false prophet," "Deposition Deion," and my personal favorite - the "Bruce Lee of B.S." You've likely heard of "Freedom of the Press," which just means that outlets have the right to report on news freely, and in the way they see it. It's protected in the Constitution of the United States - but apparently not in the "Constitution of Deion Sanders." The move to ban a critical reporter has been met with a lot of criticism itself, and ESPN's Paul Finebaum really ripped into Sanders this morning on
Get Up! , saying: "Coach Prime is showing he's not ready for primetime, Greeny. I find this whole thing to be disgraceful. Deion may want to talk about love and joy, and that seems to be the cornerstone of what he's spewing out. But treating reporters like this seems like we're in some autocratic country. This is not America... the fact that it's in his contract is even more absurd. Don't forget, he did this at Jackson State. This is a trait of Deion Sanders. He wants to have it his way, and I find him to be a bully and a hypocrite. Quite frankly, as someone who has been a fan of his throughout his entire career, I am mortified by his actions." https://twitter.com/NILvsNLI/status/1828085640069865807 Looks like Paul Finebaum won't be attending any Colorado Buffalo press conferences anytime soon either...

Sanders is a self promoting pyssy who, mistakenly, believes no one should ask him tough questions. Perhaps if Sanders was a winning coach he might be able to pull this stunt off.

I'm not a Deon Sanders fan.....however.....the media has to grow up and realize, people do not have to talk with you. So sad the media truly doesn't understand "freedom of speech"
