Wait... WHAT!? With Yellowstone gearing up for the Season 5 Part 2 premiere on November 10th, which was confirmed by Paramount to be the final installment of the flagship series, it is now being reported by Puck News' Matthew Belloni (who has been pretty damn accurate with his insider news), that a Season 6 could be in the works. And... it'll star Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) and Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler). According to the Puck Newsletter (via
TV Line ), the duo is close to signing a contract to appear for a 6th season of Yellowstone, where their story will become the focus for the future of the show. It's unclear if Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton) and Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton) will be involved, or any other current cast memebers, however I imagine details are still getting worked out. It also seems like it's about to come to blows between Jamie and Beth in this next season, so if a 6th season is indeed confirmed, wouldn't that essentially spoil this upcoming part? If Beth is going to continue on, can we assume that Jamie is going to die this fall? I'd think so... Yellowstone also released a new teaser yesterday, and I almost seemed like they were
hinting at a Kevin Costner return. https://twitter.com/Yellowstone/status/1828145390958555211 I guess we'll find out soon enough...

    Yellowstone Spinoff, The Madison

It's official. A modern day Yellowstone spinoff with the working title The Madison was green lit, featuring Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, and Beau Garrett. Pfeiffer will also executive produce alongside Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson , Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox. The logline for the series is described as:
"The series is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana." Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO, Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios praised Pfeiffer as the perfect fit for this next chapter of the Yellowstone story: “Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace. She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, Madison, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.” When the modern day spinoff was initially announced, it was rumored to star Matthew McConaughey, however it's now being speculated that two modern day spinoffs could be taking shape, including one down in Texas, presumably centered around the 6666's Ranch, and that spinoff could still star Matthew McConaughey. We'll see... Of course, we still have the second half of Season 5 (the series finale) of
Yellowstone set to premiere this coming November, as is the second and final season of prequel series 1923. In addition to that, a 1944 series is set to continue the Dutton origin story. Taylor Sheridan continues to be the busiest man in the business, and as far as I'm concerned, God bless him for it. https://twitter.com/Yellowstone/status/1809301221884211598
