House Cat Seems Way Too Happy To See A Mountain Lion Through The Sliding Glass Door

There's not a more brave animal on the planet than a house cat that's never been tested. The confidence of cats that spend all of their time inside is through the roof. Outside cats are a little more knowledgable on how the real world works, but if an inside cat hasn't ever faced real danger, they are often a little naive when it comes to facing off against bigger animals. Luckily for this small cat in Canada (Vancouver Island to be specific), there was a pane of glass that separated it from the big cat creepily peering inside. And instead of this being a high-stakes, potentially violent standoff, the two cats from different worlds seemed more interested in one another more than anything else. Cats recognize cats I guess? The indoor cat named Phoebe pawed at the window playfully, and every so often, the mountain lion would do the same. It was interesting to see the two animals - one wild and one domesticated - interact with one another.
