Horrifying Video Shows SUV Speeding Onto Golf Course & Slamming Into Innocent Golfer

Just a heads up that this footage is very distressing. It's unclear how something like this could happen other than inebriation, road rage, or some combination of those two. Regardless of the circumstances, the driver of this car who sent a man flipping into the air deserves to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. A Ford Bronco driver either lost control of the vehicle or deliberately drove onto the Deerfield Golf Course in Newark, Delaware, rammed into a pedestrian and almost hit another before whipping around and speeding off in the opposite direction. https://twitter.com/NUCLRGOLF/status/1829281376673366505 A quick search of the local Newark (Delaware) news only brought about a lead story about some motorcyclist fleeing the scene of an accident where a University of Delaware freshman was struck and killed . No idea if this is related, but the Newark Post is also reporting on a crackdown on DUIs by local law enforcement. Again, to be clear, I'm not speculating that's what happened here. Just seems like there are some disturbing trends in that particular area. What else can really be said about this incident? It's terrible, but it's one of those ugly realities of life that occasionally have to be acknowledged. The selfish state of mind the driver has to be in to do something like this is unfathomable to me. The only silver lining I can see right now is that the man who was struck by the SUV seemed to be moving around on the ground. That doesn't mean he's going to get out of this OK or anything. Just grasping for anything remotely positive at this point. I'm sure further details will be reported by additional news outlets in the coming hours, or early on Friday. As far as any golf-related videos go, this is about as bad as you'll ever see. Let's hope the videographers who captured this grisly scene managed to take down the license plate of whoever was behind the wheel.
