The first opening night of the F-1 Trillion Tour . Post Malone is officially on the road for his extensive F-1 Trillion tour. The rap and pop artist has officially swapped the DJ stand behind him for a full band, jeans, and boots, embracing the new chapter of his career. This crossover was a long time coming, with Malone slowly integrating himself into the country music realm. Since the release of his
debut country record , Malone has further captured fans' hearts with his twang, and now he is taking the hits created in the studio to the stage. Enlisting the Alabama group Muscadine Bloodline to support him on the tour's first leg, fans are in for a night filled with country music. After the "Evinrudin'" singers primed the Salt Lake City crowd, Malone stepped out on stage and started the tour with a bang. Opening the show with his duet with Tim McGraw, "Wrong Ones," Malone (and his band) stepped out sporting his home state pride with a Dallas Cowboys jersey. As he walked out on stage holding a Bud Light solo cup and a cigarette in the same hand as his microphone, he wasted no time before diving into the lyrics of the rocking track. Vocally, Malone sounds stellar. He is spot on with hitting each note, and with the support of his background vocalist, the harmony carries depth. As the song continues, you can tell that Malone isn't tense when performing in front of a massive crowd. He is there to put on one helluva show by simply being himself and is having a blast while doing it. As fireworks erupt behind him, he lives his best life, dancing along to the music and interacting with his band members, bringing the energy up throughout the entire arena. As the song nears its end, Malone holds up a hand heart to the crowd. He is always so humble and knows that without the support of his fans, he would not be as massive of a star. If this is how the tour is starting off, it's hard to imagine how it gets much better than this. But as pyrotechnic kinks get worked out and he gets in the groove of being back on a massive tour, it will only age like a fine wine. Post Malone is country to his core and is here to stay.
