Not having it... and she shouldn't. Yesterday, Megan Moroney headlined a show over in the UK at the O2 Institute Birmingham in Birmingham, where she had to deal with a couple different issues in the crowd. At one point, she had to completely stop the show and call security herself because a woman passed out (according to the comments on the TikTok below), calling security after she saw something going on in the crowd:
"Can we get security over here? Clear a path please... We're gonna stop the show until I get thumbs up, take your time." Then, during another part of the international concert, some a**hole threw a hat at her during "Hope You're Happy," and he was eventually kicked out. In another video shared to TikTok, you can see her flip the guy off in the first few seconds (it's very subtle, so look at her hand holding the microphone... I completely missed it the first time). People in the comments said the guy, and others in his group, were obnoxious the whole night, and I'm honestly so tired of seeing people throw stuff at artists (okay, besides the occasional bra , which is kinda funny). What exactly is the point? It usually only pisses them off and annoys those around you trying to actually enjoy the show: Though that video is apparently missing context, because Meg left a comment that she wasn't just flipping off the crowd... it "scared the hell" out of her when she saw the hat come flying onstage, and while he was being kicked out, he "continued to be obnoxious' and she'd had enough. It was directed at him, as it should've been, and he completely deserved it (and to be kicked out) in my very humble opinion: "Weird way to title this vid & not include context. A guy threw a hat at me & it scared the hell out of me. I gave a finger when he was getting kicked out & continued to be obnoxious. Hope this helps!" Of course, she's up there singing and focused on performing, so when she sees something come flying at her face from the crowd, it takes a second to realize what's happening, what the object is, all while trying to move so she don't get hit. Seriously... this is ridiculous. It sucks this even had to happen, but good for Meg... y'all keep your hats on your head or leave them at home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF7AARdpT0Y
