The Real-Life Dutton Ranch Is Not Taking Reservations For 2025… Will They Be Filming More Yellowstone?

Interesting, eh? The Yellowstone saga continues this coming November with the premiere of Season 5 Part 2 on November 10th, and it's been billed as the final season of the show. Of course, some rumors started swirling that they were actually working on a 6th season that would primarily focus on continuing the story of Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton, played by Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly. Do I really think that's going to happen? Not really, but we'll see. I'd imagine that they want to see how well Season 5 Part 2 does before they make any commitments on a 6th season. It's no secret that the show has lost a lot of buzz after a nearly two year hiatus, and... the departure of their main character and A-list star, Kevin Costner. Jennifer Landon's latest Instagram post also called it the last season, so that would seem to confirm, at least as of right now, that this alleged 6th season is not a go:
"Here’s a blurry selfie of me leaving set on my last day of the last season of 'Yellowstone.' Mound of paper towels for all the feelings. It was an incredible ride." https://www.instagram.com/p/C_uDB8GpCGy/ Of course, a new spinoff series starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Suits star Patrick J. Adams, The Madison, has officially been green-lit, and is set to take place in the southwestern part of the state. 1923 seems to be filming its second season exclusively in Texas, with Austin being the "home base" for production. Which brings me to the Dutton Ranch, which is a real Montana ranch, located in the town of Darby. Officially called the
Chief Joseph Ranch, it's a stunning piece of property that features a real working ranch with horses and cows, hay fields… and for a handful months every year, owner Owner Shane Libel allows his home to be turned into a television set. And, when they're not filming (which hasn't been often lately), you can actually spend the night on the Dutton Ranch. You can’t stay in the Dutton home itself, but the Chief Joseph Ranch does rent out two cabins on the property: the Ben Cook Cabin (which is Rip’s cabin in Season 1 and Casey’s cabin in Season 2) and the Fisherman’s Cabin (which is Lee’s cabin in Season 1 and Season 2). However... here's the kicker.... the website for the ranch says that they are not taking reservations for 2024 or 2025 as of right now:
https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2rzsc7_0vSmzVTY00 Which could mean a couple of things: 1) They have spent a lot of time filming recently and don't want to rent out the property next year as filming finally comes to a close. 2) They will be filming the spinoff series The Madison , there. 3) They will be filming another season of Yellowstone
there. 4) There is another spinoff series in the works, possibly 1944. Of course, there's always the possibility that they will open up the reservations at some point next year, or that they are completely booked for all of 2025, but I'm not so sure. I have a hunch we haven't seen the last of the Dutton Ranch on our television sets. Stay tuned... https://twitter.com/Yellowstone/status/1829488235799879829
