It was a disturbing scene at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Sunday, as a member of the chain gang collapsed to the turf and needed medical personnel to immediately administer CPR on the sidelines. Players for the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders took a knee wishing all the best, and it looks like their prayers were ultimately answered. https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1835382398113984792 https://twitter.com/ImKyleMangum/status/1835381702023172301 https://twitter.com/PictureMane/status/1835383137238409456 The Ravens provided an encouraging update on the man who went down: https://twitter.com/Ravens/status/1835383654165713074 Not much else to add here. You just hate to see any situation like this, and to be honest, it unfortunately reminded me somewhat of the Damar Hamlin incident when he collapsed on the field, albeit under vastly different circumstances. Just as was the case with Hamlin, what a great job by the medical team who rushed to action and presumably saved the collapsed man's life. You can't say enough about people who work in any medical profession. All those years of school. The stomach it takes to deal with patients who are often fighting for their lives. It's such a noble way to contribute to society, and it makes for epic, heroic stories like this one. Thoughts and prayers to the chain gang man for a speedy and full recovery from whatever exactly happened.
