Pirates Ace Paul Skenes Join Charles Wesley Godwin On Stage, Closes Out Show With “Take Me Home, Country Roads”

Bringing out some special guests. Last night, Charles Wesley Godwin took to the stage in the Steel City and made sure he showed the crowd one helluva time. CWG concerts will always be filled with crowd members belting out the words to his songs, and he ensures that the lyrics and his band are kept at the focal point. You aren't going to get a lot of frilly pyrotechnics at a CWG show, just good, honest-to-God country music. Being in Pittsburgh over the weekend (a little over an hour from his hometown in Morgantown, West Virginia), he brought out some special hometown guests to close out his set. Paul Skenes and Jared Jones of the Pittsburgh Pirates jumped on stage to help CWG sing "Take Me Home, Country Roads."
