Miranda Lambert Adds HARDY, Lukas Nelson & Jake Worthington To ‘Music For Mutts’ Benefit Concert Lineup

An incredible lineup for a great cause. Today, Miranda Lambert announced the full slate of openers for her first-ever Music for Mutts benefit concert, which will raise money for her MuttNation Foundation that she founded as a 501c3 nonprofit with her mother, Bev, in 2009. Lukas Nelson , HARDY and Jake Worthington will join the lineup as openers for Miranda (in addition to some other surprise guests), which is slated for Saturday, October 5th at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater. Miranda says that she wanted to do something special to celebrate the 15th anniversary of MuttNation, and the weekend will also include adoption opportunities. It's a cause that's near and dear to her heart, so she wanted to do it up big for the milestone year: "This is a very special event for me, and I’m so honored that the artists I asked to join me, who are all such big animal lovers, agreed to help. What also makes it special is that there’s an open-to-the-public dog adoption event right before the concert – so if you’re thinking about adding a four-legged member to your family you need to be there from 4-6 p.m. And anyone who knows anything about me knows that helping shelter pets is what I use my voice for when I’m not singing, so you can bet I’ll be singing and talking all night long!
