As a Saints fan myself, I'm feeling pretty good today. Of course the New Orleans Saints looked pretty good in week 1, beating the Carolina Panthers 47-10. But while Saints fans were happy that our offense seemed to have risen from the coma it was in last year...I mean, it was the Panthers. So how much of the blowout was really the Saints improving on offense, and how much was it just because the Panthers are a historically bad team? Well we seemed to get our answer yesterday when new Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak managed to shred the Dallas Cowboys on the road, thanks to 4 touchdowns from running back Alvin Kamara and some absolute bombs from quarterback Derek Carr. I mean, the Saints were feeling themselves so much that Carr even hit the Michael Jackson while he was celebrating: https://twitter.com/HaterReport_/status/1835396848162374050 Yeah, Saints fans are feeling pretty good right now. Of course on the other side of the equation you have the Dallas Cowboys, who just made Dak Prescott the highest paid QB in the league with a shiny new 4-year contract worth $60 million per year....just to lose 44-19 to the Saints at home. And the Saints fans traveled well to AT&T Stadium, with audible "Who Dat" cheers erupting as the blowout became more embarrassing for the Cowboys. But things only got worse after the game, as Saints fans rubbed a little salt in the wound for Cowboys fans and decided to throw an impromptu second-line parade, complete with a brass band, outside of AT&T Stadium as sad Cowboys fans looked on. https://twitter.com/DallasTexasTV/status/1835434312591982977 Now, New Orleans throws a parade for just about anything, and the Saints finally being back is definitely a parade-worthy occasion. But you gotta think Cowboys fans weren't happy to see opposing fans parading outside of their stadium after a win. Talk about disrespect. And as a Saints fan, I LOVE to see it. Got our swagger back in NOLA. Gonna be a fun season. https://twitter.com/Nick_inyamouth/status/1835452377639588052 Oh, and if you're a Cowboys fan reading this, here's a message for you too: https://twitter.com/peyroll/status/1835404625392087492
