“Get The F**k Out Of Here”- Gavin Adcock Kicks Out Security Guard For Punching Fan In The Face

Isn't it usually the other way around? The wild child of country music is not letting venues rain on his rowdy parade. Last night, Gavin Adcock took to the stage in Oxford, Mississippi, at The Lyric, and things did not go as planned for one of his fans. When we speak about "things not going as planned for a fan," it usually means they are being hauled out of the venue by security. But this is something that I don't think I've ever seen before as a country music fan. A member of security reportedly began picking on a fan in the crowd, catching Adcock's attention. Adcock paid no attention to what the fan might have done to lead to this but was immediately disappointed in the venue team member for treating his fans like this. An audience member in the upper viewing area of the venue quickly pulled out her phone to video what was going on, and she started recording right in time. Adcock is talking into the microphone, pointing out to everyone in the audience that the staff is rude to his fans when the heated interaction between the fan and security guard worsens. "The security guards are out here trying to fight my fans, being a**holes. Oh! He just punched him in the face. The security guard just punched my fan in the face. Get the f**k out of here." The punched fan did not go to the ground, and right after the guard's knuckles met his face, he immediately walked off, knowing he was likely going to be canned if not charges pressed against him as well. Adcock then walks over to the side of the stage where the incident occurred to check on the man. After ensuring he was okay, he cut the music and started talking to his audience, noting his disappointment. "There are little girls up here. The security guards are coming up here and punching the f**king fans. Get the f**k out of here. Nobody asked you to come up here... Two security guards hit my fans up here. They need to be fired and locked up in godd*mn jail." As he says this, the remainder of security near the guard rail walks away, and Adcock returns to his setlist. This was a wild scene. Security guards do not always have the easiest job dealing with intoxicated fans or rowdy crowds, but punching someone in the face is never the answer. Shoutout to Gavin Adcock for calling out the security guard and ensuring the fan was not removed from the show. Hopefully, this fan will get tickets to another show where he can experience Gavin Adcock free of face punches.
