“Oh My Gosh, They’ve Destroyed My Fence” – Big Bull Moose Wreak Havoc On Alaskan Family’s Backyard In Heavyweight Brawl

It’s that time of the year, people. Ya gotta love when these big creatures get into the rut and start doing wild things like wrecking someone's whole backyard. For a moose, that is nothing, these things are huge. They are the largest members of the deer family reaching well over 1,500 pounds in some cases. The males, called bulls, grow monstrous and have massive paddle-shaped antlers that can reach up to 6 feet long. Moose use their massive size and antlers as a display of dominance for mating, by they also use to engage it fights to show who the boss is. Seeing two animals of this size go at it is a sight to be seen. Usually it happens out in the wild and they mow over trees and bushes in the process. But last fall, these folks found out the hard way what happens when some moose battle in your backyard. Tw0 massive bulls are seen squaring up in a Homer, Alaska, backyard as the home owner looks on in horror. The pair butt heads and go at it, crashing through the fence with ease. “Oh gosh damn, my fence! Are you kidding me, moose?” Yeah, that one would suck... but hey, at least it came with a wild experience, a viral video, and perhaps, proof for an insurance claim. To be honest, I would trade my fence for a moose fight any day. But the mom is already thinking about calling State Farm: “I wonder if this can be an insurance claim…” Dad has another great idea: “Get better video, because you’re gonna get a million hits.” A million hits indeed.
