Week one of the Why Not? Tour has come and gone. Sturgill Simpson, Kevin, Laur, Miles, and Robbie are back in the swing of things with week one of Johnny Blue Skies/ Sturgill Simpson 's tour under their belts. Similar to how Simpson gave fans an inside peek into rehearsals that made the tour come to life, he is showing off the highlights of being a rockstar, along with the downtime and the not-so-glamour parts of life on the road. The first week of the tour marks Simpson's return to the stage after a multi-year hiatus. The energy has been electric from both him and his band and the crowd. From opening the tour in L.A. at the historic Greek Theatre to surprising a family in Utah with t-shirts for their young sons, the clipped footage serves as a perfect highlight reel of what on and off stage looks like for Simpson and his crew. While it's always nice to see how your favorite musicians spend their time off stage, this recap's on-stage and fan portion captures the viewer's attention.
