HOW ABOUT THOSE BOYS FROM OKLAHOMA. I don't think Stillwater has ever been this popular of a town, and that's coming from someone who attended Oklahoma State so I've seen the crowds America's Greatest Homecoming can draw. Cross Canadian Ragweed 's reunion show might have well broken the internet today. Last week, Ragweed confirmed that they would be reuniting for the first time in 15 years - and they were heading back to back where it all began. The band announced "The Boys From Oklahoma" show at Boone Pickens Stadium on the campus of Oklahoma State University. The April 12, 2025 show features Turnpike Troubadours, The Great Divide, Stoney LaRue and Jason Boland & the Stragglers. But it quickly became apparent that the demand was going to be at an all-time high, so a second show was added on April 11, 2025, featuring Turnpike, Stoney LaRue, Jason Boland & the Stragglers and Mike McClure Band. Well the presale opened today, and fans anxiously logged on hoping to get tickets to see Ragweed for the first time in 15 years. With thousands of fans in the queue this morning, Cody Canada updated fans on why the queue took a long time. Their team attempted to release tickets at a slowed rate, hoping to avoid bots from buying them and reselling them at high prices.
"For those of you in the queue, tickets are still available, so don’t lose your place in line! All the folks in the presale are just making the process a little slow, but tickets are still available!" https://www.instagram.com/p/DA1CtsbO-gw/ But as it turns out, the band might not have realized just how many people wanted to see them. Fans sat patiently in line, waiting their turn to purchase tickets, but some fans didn't even make it through the queue before seeing the announcement that the show was entirely sold out. Cross Canadian Ragweed shared on their social media that they are working on adding additional shows to the weekend, given the overwhelming demand for tickets. "Y’all broke Pete!!!! We’re blown away by the response for The Boys From Oklahoma. Both Friday and Saturday’s shows are now SOLD OUT.

The demand has been so overwhelming that we’re working to add shows on Thursday and Sunday to try to get as many people as possible in for the April 2025 weekend event.

We’ll have more info for all of you later today, so please stay tuned."

I doubt Ragweed thought they'd be selling out two nights at Boone Pickens Stadium with a crazy demand for more shows. Talk about a comeback. They should take this as their sign to head out on tour...
