Detroit Lions Center Reportedly Proved To Head Coach Dan Campbell He’s Healthy Enough To Play By Punching Him Up Against Wall

That's one way to let your coach know you are good to go. I'll go ahead and say it - the Detroit Lions might just be built different. Head coach Dan Campbell had the quickest turnaround from laughing stock to respected coach the sports world has ever seen. Most people chuckled when he was talking about biting the kneecaps of opposing teams... now those teams are actively trying to protect their kneecaps when they play the Lions. Somehow, Motor City Dan Campbell (MCDC) - and the inordinate amounts of coffee he consumes - has transformed the Detroit Lions into one of the toughest, grittiest teams in the league. Coming off their bye week, the Lions sit at a record of 3-1, which puts them in second place in their division behind the 5-0 Minnesota Vikings (SKOL!). Detroit has had an under-the-radar start to the season, and they've only lost one game. They're simply a tough team to beat. How tough, you might be asking? Well, this story that Dan Campbell told the media this week should give you a pretty good idea. Lions center Frank Ragnow has been battling a pec injury as of late, and it appears that he got healthy during the team's bye week. And the lineman had quite the creative way of showing Dan Campbell that he was healthy and ready to get back onto the field, as MCDC explained when talking with the media:
"Someone punches me against the wall, then I get punched again and I realize that it's Frank trying to show me that his pec is great. That's his way of telling me, 'Look how strong I am, it's good.'" https://twitter.com/burchie_kid/status/1843990546697830844 Frank Ragnow = Football Guy. I find it hard to believe that an act like that would go as smoothly in any other organization besides the Lions. It truly seems as though the Lions team sees Dan Campbell as one of them, and they're apparently so comfortable with their head coach that they're willing to punch him up against walls to signify their health status. Only in Detroit...
