Broadway Girls Jump On Top Of A Metro Nashville Police Car For Impromptu Photoshoot

These Broadway girls do not need to be left alone... they need to be told to get down. Have they forgotten the cardinal rule of college: no elevated surfaces? While many, including myself, often had little regard for that sorority rule, I'm pretty sure getting on top of a cop car is where you should abide. Nashville's highly popular strip of bars, Lower Broadway, is home to some of the finest owned artist restaurant and bar concepts, honky tonks, and historical dives that legends in country music used to frequent. The stretch of Lower Broadway has turned into a tourism hot spot over the last decade as bachelorettes have taken over along with country music super fans hopping from bar to bar to enjoy some libations and live music. But, as the sun goes down, the characters on Broadway get more colorful, and it almost becomes as wild as Austin's 6th Street. The drunks get drunk, and the people-watching becomes some quality entertainment - and these girls took home the prize for best people-watching of the night. As it gets dark, parts of Broadway are often blocked off to keep the large number of people in the street safe and pedestrian traffic moving. In September, two girls took full advantage of a cop car parked to block off a portion of the street at the location for a photoshoot. While I'm not sure even leaning on a cop car for a picture is a good idea, these women took it a step further, climbing on top of the sedan's trunk. One woman arches her back on the trunk while her friend poses next to the truck with her backside facing the camera. The third friend takes their picture. After a few clicks of the camera, they hop off the vehicle and continue on their way, probably headed to their next bar of choice. While I wish we got to see an interaction between a cop and these women, maybe it's for the best they made it out of that situation without running from the law because I am sure that most of us would have left in handcuffs.
