Luke Grimes Says Fans Won’t See The ‘Yellowstone’ Finale Coming: “Never Would Have Come Up With This One”

Soon enough, Yellowstone fans will get to see their favorite show come to a bittersweet end. The back half of Yellowstone's season five will finally begin airing in November of this year. It’ll be a six-episode installment, and after that, the Yellowstone universe’s staple show will be wrapped up. Fans can find some comfort in the fact that there are still spinoffs in the works - and a couple of different additional Yellowstone -universe shows being teased. For those that don't like to wait, you are more than welcome to read about the ending that leaked online not too long ago. We'll obviously have to wait and see if it all ends up being true, but if it is, the series finale is bound to be one of the wildest conclusions to a story that TV has ever seen. Luke Grimes - who plays Kayce Dutton in the show - assured fans that the ending will be satisfying for the
Yellowstone faithful when speaking with Newsweek . He also stated that Taylor Sheridan was really "in his bag" when he brought the whole story to an end, saying: "I think true to Yellowstone's form, (fans) won't be able to see it coming. I feel like that's the kind of beauty of Taylor's writing and it's always so surprising. It's never what you thought it was going to be. But I think everyone will be really satisfied with, you know, if I would have tried to come up with an ending, I never would have come up with this one, but it's the perfect one. Because I'm clearly not a writer and even if I was, it would not be as good as Taylor. But yeah, I think it'll just be very satisfying because it's, I mean, that's what you want. That's what you want. And the ending of a great show is something unpredictable and satisfying."
I'll speak for all Yellowstone fans and say that it better be a satisfying ending. You can't leave people waiting for this long to conclude a show and then lay an egg with the series finale. Thankfully, if we can trust Luke Grimes (and I think we can), it appears as though Yellowstone's conclusion will be well worth the wait. He’ll probably blow everything up (kind of like the Little House ending)

WHO cares? Sheridan screwed the pooch and killed viewer interest by mismanaging the show.
