Female Steelers Fan Gets Hit In The Face As Fight Erupts With Raiders Supporters & Beer Cans Fly

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders don't strike me as having the classiest fan bases across the board. I know fans who actually get into physical altercations are a small minority amongst the vast majority of society who can put aside their differences for several hours, agree to disagree on which football team they like, and coexist while rooting their players on. But yeah, if you had an unrealistically specific Mad Libs to fill out and the prompt was "Team X fans" in one blank fighting with "Team Y fans" in another blank, the Steelers and Raiders faithful would be among the prime suspects. Or maybe I'm just projecting team identities onto the fans. Pittsburgh's team has a hard-nosed edge and defensive mentality blended with some chaos (see: Antonio Brown, Big Ben, etc.). The Raiders are perpetually dysfunctional and have a sort of identity crisis in terms of organizational culture and actual location, having moved from Oakland to LA, back to Oakland, and now to Las Vegas. We don't get the best look at what happened, but it's clear that a female Steelers fan appeared to get hit in the face, whether it was by a hand or some kind of impromptu projectile. She's clearly shaken up and a little bloodied. Almost looks like she has an immediate black eye:
The Steelers folks take obvious issue with that, and proceed to chuck loaded beer cans at the alleged culprit and the general cluster of Raiders gear-wearing game attendees, which leads to security intervening. We have a broader look from up above as the Allegiant Stadium brass begins to intervene. You can even see a dude coming from a number of rows down, removing his jacket and looking like he wants to hand out retribution: Sometimes fan fights can admittedly be funny, but whenever a woman is bleeding in the aftermath, that's beyond crossing the line. Whatever's happening on the field, if you can't cordially talk s**t without provoking somebody else into a violent encounter, I don't know what to tell you. Furthermore, if you get in your feelings about your team losing so much that you can't control yourself from physically lashing out at someone else, I
really don't know what to tell you. Get a life...
