Cody Jinks Says A TON Of New Music Is On The Way Including A Lefty Frizzell Cover Album & Some Songs That Never Got Released: “Hodgepodge Of Rad Songs”

It's a great time to be a Cody Jinks fan. Not only because he was recently on the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast , where he talked about setting beer sales records , his recent release Backside of 30 , being a dad, the viral video of a fan getting tasered while he and his band continued to play "Loud and Heavy," and his forthcoming book, among other things. It's also a great time to be a fan of the "Hippies and Cowboys" singer because he's got plenty of new music right around the corner. Jinks revealed that he's got a passion project of sorts that will be released in just a couple of months: "A lot of new music (is on the way), which is super cool. We're excited. We just did the re-release 30, added 'When The New Wears Off.' We're dropping a Lefty Frizzell tribute record in December, and that was just a labor of love because Lefty was big in my household. 'Long Black Veil' was the first song I played as a kid. Getting that out finally." Then looking ahead to 2025 - and even 2026 - Cody Jinks and his band have a couple of other surprises hidden up their sleeve. Fans can look out for a flurry of songs that have already been recorded to be released next year, and then the country rock star teased an all-new record that he hopes will come out in early 2026: "And then we have about 10-ish songs from other records that we didn't put on other records because, whatever reason, they didn't go stylistically. So we had this really cool hodgepodge of just all kind of different, really rad songs that either needed to be their own thing or one hodgepodge kind of record, I don't know... Long story short, we're going to put that out in 2025 too, whether it's in three packs or six packs or however we decide to do it. Just singles, I don't know. We've got that coming out. In May, we started recording for what's going to be our next big, huge release at the beginning of what I believe to be the beginning of 2026." COME ON WITH IT.
