I've found myself saying this way too often, but Nolan Taylor's latest single might just be one of his best yet. Taylor, an incredibly talented vocalist and lyricist, has been lauded by those in the know for quite sometime know, but it wasn't until he experienced a viral moment with his hard-hitting breakout song "68" about a year and a half ago that he really began releasing music at a noticeable rate. Now an undeniably prolific songwriter and releaser, Taylor still finds himself in a stage where he is continuing to add to his catalog in an effort to fulfill both his rapidly growing fanbase as well as his own insatiable appetite to create. All that to say, he's released a lot of music over the last year and a half, but he just keeps getting better and better with each release. And his latest single "Holding On" is far from an exception. As his been the case with a lot of Taylor's music now that he has moved away from solely acoustic tracks, "Holding On" features his talented band but in a relatively stripped-back manner that allows for Taylor's incredible vocals to shine and for the listener to hone in intimately on the lyrics. In this one, Taylor reveals a sense of inferiority as he grapples with the notion that he may not be enough for a person with whom he has fallen in love. Yet another heartfelt song that is sure to resonate with listeners, "Give "holding On" a listen for yourself here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRcQUqDBQlA And while we're at it, because I haven't been able to stop listening to it over the past few weeks, check out another song Taylor was featured on recently. Written and released by his bandmate and close friend Clarke Sexton, and incredibly talented musician in his own right, "Hold Me" is a must listen for everyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkX_s98V9yU Now get out there and catch Nolan Taylor and company on the road, there are plenty of tour dates remaining this fall. https://www.instagram.com/p/DAjCr54Rz7r/?img_index=1
