Jason Kelce May Or May Not Have Fallen Fast Asleep During Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Concert In Miami

Jason Kelce is a pretty busy guy these days, between various media jobs and other NFL-adjacent situations , Kelce is presumably still around the house more often than usual during football season. The retired Philadelphia Eagles center didn't exactly have to take one for the team by attending Taylor Swift's concert in Miami, because let's face it, there's a good chance she'll be his eventual sister-in-law. Plus, Swift is sort of a pop culture/music monolith at this point, so why put up walls and act like you're too cool for T-Swift? Haters gonna hate. Gotta shake it off, ya know? But Kelce went into full-blown dad mode Friday night, or at least he appeared to, when a lull in the proceedings led to what looked like a quick nap in the comfort of his seat at Hard Rock Stadium. https://twitter.com/Beau_Allen/status/1847435607196229893 I hadn't the slightest clue what that caption was referring to. Turns out it's an allusion to Swift's song "Anti-Hero." Alrighty then. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Swift's concerts are notoriously long, and I really don't know how she's built up the stamina to pull them off. To still sound decent after multiple hours of singing, dancing, rapid-speed outfit changes and so forth, you can't help but be impressed. Being on the go like that is probably as much of a thrill for Taylor as the rest of the Swifties in attendance. However, I can totally see how Kelce and others might need to pace themselves with a micro nap at some point. This isn't Kelce's first rodeo at one of these shows. I also imagine his wife daughters bump a lot of T-Swift back at the house. I'm inclined to cut the future Hall of Famer a break. If any public sports figure has to be more "on" at all times than this guy, I don't know who it is. Kelce's personality is almost larger than life. He's juggling a lot in his post-football life. No shame in reclining for some shut-eye in my opinion, wherever you can get it.
